is Hooper still in Russia or whatever? Was that the end of the other season? I forget everything about all shows all the time
This already sounds like an overly ambitious season plan and they’re going to want to top it for the last season. So they’re going to have every episode be a movie worth 200 mil or what?
How much longer do you think this can really go on? Both for in-universe and real life reasons I think it should end sooner than later to preserve the quality
I mean, one final season to complete the story they want to tell is not going to kill anyone. But I also in general kind of find stances of "preserve this perfect run" on anything kind of cringy. That's just me.
Back after season 1 came out, the Duffers said they planned enough story for 4 or 5 seasons. Season 5 has already been confirmed to be the last one. So we can just enjoy the ride.
It's not like they're gonna do ten more seasons after it was initially planned to be five, that would be ridiculous. I mean, who does that?
Shows should be as long as they need to be to tell the story but there's always risk of a show meandering and going too long. I don't necessarily think that's the case here since the show has been pretty tight to this point. I'll trust the showrunners for now and see what this season brings.
tagging just to be safe but I'm not sharing any actual spoilers: I just looked up the spoilers and its nothing significant from what I saw. Nothing worth having a 'total meltdown' over. No visual spoilers of anything and nothing that'll ruin the show imo. To keep it as vague as possible, the text on some of the game cards mention new creatures and some locations and characters who will be going to said locations during the season.
rewatching this for the first time since s3 ended and wow it just hit me that Hopper's deputy is Turk Barrett from Daredevil lol
