Very good video on the change in Hopper for season 3 and how it relates to sexist media tropes from the 80's this channel is so good.
Oh my god yes!! I’ve loved them ever since you posted that video a few months back. Can’t wait to sit down and watch all of this, the first few minutes are great.
There are a few tie-in novels as well. I’m pretty sure most are considered canon, but I don’t know anyone personally who has read them to talk about the quality.
There is Darkness on the Edge of Town which is about Hopper’s time in NYC. And Suspicious Minds which I think is about Brenner or at least something to do with him. I started listening to the audiobook version of Darkness but I don’t know if I can sit through it. Especially because of Eleven’s speech pattern
I took a look at when they posted for the first time about the next season in years past and it seems like the first post was about a year and a bit before the season premiered.
Probably started filming or something. But yeah I fully expect this next fall/octoberish for spooky season
Imagine if this just came out this Halloween, like one month's time. They'd just filmed 3 + 4 back-to-back or whatever. I'd lose it man...
after season 2 i was super wary of them keeping it going, but after season 3 i really am looking forward to seeing where they can take it
Teaser is weird, tagline is they aren't in Hawkins anymore, but the image has a sign that says "welcome to hawkins."
We need more time in the Upside Down this time around. Like, an extended time to really explore it and discover more about it.
forgot to mention i bought the dnd stranger things some time ago because it was like 15 bucks i haven’t opened it but im excited to try it out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G5X6N5P/?tag=absolutepunk-20
I don’t think they would ever do this. But how wild would it be if next season was just following Harper in the upside down trying to escape?
