This is truly a great record. Maybe the best sunset beer drinking record of the year. That Faye Webster record was my go to before this.

I agree with the Ben Folds vocals. I also get Wayne Coyne vibes as well.

I’ve been seeing this thread pop up recently and I decided to give them a try.. damn this is soooo good. This is a perfect end of summer album.

This is probably my favorite thing to come out on Friday. Other than Club Night, this is the only Tiny Engines release that has really hit me this year. That vocoder/autotune breakdown in "Beneath the Lights" is so beautiful.

Same. I prefer Club Night, but this is a close 2nd and both are gonna be really high on my year end list.

The next Tiny Engines release that has me incredibly excited is Peaer.

This album is next-level great. If they were on Matador or 4AD or Domino every major publication would be absolutely losing their shit over this and dubbing it album of the year, future of guitar music etc. etc.

    beautiful and chequered, the end

this is one of the rare albums where the instrumental interludes are some of the most emotionally affecting things to me lol. The melodies on rockets and '02 are just incredible

I love Athens, GA too. It transitions the mood from the poppier tracks to the mid section so well.
