Sunday is currently my favorite track (because Leona doesn’t count at this point) but every time I come back to it I fall in love with something else. It really captures a very specific summer mood throughout.

The interludes are so good. I hope they play those live and extend them a little.

This album is great.

 

I loved this on first listen. Liked the EP last year but none of the LPs have ever clicked until this. Huge record.

 

it will come as a shock to absolutely nobody that this is probably my AOTY for now

i appreciate the fact that they can get away with lyrics like this

 

the guitar tones on here are incredible and so are all the glittery synth noises that sit in the background of a lot of these songs

Anyone else hear Ben folds in the delivery at times?

 

Tapers off for me a little after the first 3-4 songs but this is very good. It’s a nice surprise since I thought Rot Forever was decent but way too long, and Daymoon did nothing for me.

 

just now realizing most people don’t like Daymoon

feel like that album paved the way for indie bands getting weird and I’ll be vindicated ten years from now

daymoon wasn't bad, it just had massive expectations for me after rot forever which is one of my favorite albums this decade.

Wow where did this band come from and how did none of you fucks tell me about them before?! This is so good, in line with a lot of shit I gush over and get 1-2 people to listen to lol. Happy this has everybody's attention already.
