I'm perplexed because their tour dates list 9/7 in Columbia, SC, yet the venue has someone else booked for the date? I'll be super bummed if they're not playing.

Finally got around this during my drive to work this morning and wow. This is gonna be the rest of my summer / early fall for sure.

 

i think this will fill that void for me while I wait for the Oso record

 

Sunday is a jam. A lot of the instrumental moments on the album remind me of the Sioux Falls stuff (but updated for their new sound / aesthetic)

 

guhhh can't wait. holding off til tomorrow.

 

Update, venue/band never confirmed the booking. Sadness.

It’s albums like this that make me really thankful for this site. I never would have heard of these guys without it. I found myself excited for this all week despite never listening to another one of their albums or knowing they existed a few weeks ago. Just heard the few singles and new I’d love it. It’s awesome as expected.

The first stretch of Leona / Sunday / Ari Song is stupid catchy and I love how the album shifts from there.
