yeah this record is a gift that keeps on giving

can't believe they're already mapping another LP

 

"Doggies" is gut wrenching, and extremely powerful

Glow is probably this bands best song

 

i wishi could make out more of the lyrics. gonna have to spend some serious time with this

that is a great live version of perfect gold. i've kinda half assed it with this record because i've been bummed of the departure from the rot forever sprawl. but reading through the lyrics on some of the songs that stuck out to me initially make me want to give it a little more time. heartbreaking stuff.

seeing them tonight for first time. so so so stoked

 

saw them for free with two insanely good locals at one of my fave bars a couple nights ago. Such a show.

 

mostly new stuff? or mix of it all?

 

75% new id say but I’m not super familiar with them I went for the local band before them and just sorta found out they were playing haha

very very good, they truly are one of the best bands. they played a bunch of the new album + some stuff from Rot Forever (they opened with copy paste). The fact they played dom made my entire night.

one of the local openers (blank screen) were also super sick.

 

ah, truly gutted I couldn't be there. Copy/Paste is a great opening choice, though having listened to Rot Forever 10000x I always picture the set starting with him singing "SHE PLAYED ROCK GUITARRRR"

edit: just remembered my sister opened for Palehound last night and I'm kind of glad I wasn't in the city so I wouldn't have to explain to her how I'm missing her set to see Strange Ranger lol

 

this aint gonna make you feel better but strange ranger started playing at like at 1220am , you could of saw both lol
