"Hydration is Key" sounds like "Trailer Trash" if you took thirty paces away and put a cloud in between your ears and the song
haa so i was jus checking the old blog email and i'm apparently still on TE press list so i'mma check it when im off work.
i mean if you want to write stuff i perhaps have ideas... i mean if anyone feels they can write consistently i can make stuff happen
basically my problem is that i can manage a site and communicate with press people and i have the connections and write once in a while but not consistently enough to do it without other people involved. if other people want to take the bulk of the writing and have me handle most things that's what i'd love to do, haha.
i already have the site infrastructure as well, i did it for about a month before crashing and burning as usual but hey, if a few people want to join in and make it a thing it shouldn't be too hard to get going
Yeah would definitely be down for writing content. I'm probably not yr guy if you need timely news type posts tho, but for stuff outside that I'm totally down. You want samples or smth?
i really wanted to wait for it to be released before i give it a full first listen but today is super cloudy and cold and i dont think i'm gonna make it.
After a few listens I feel like the RIYL is PNW indie rock. It's p much a perfect synthesis of We Have the Facts era Death Cab, Modest Mouse, a bit of Built to Spill, some Elliott Smith in some portions. Closest contemporary is like older Alex G imo Naturally this was the perfect recipe to fucking destroy me. I'm dead, and in barely over 40 min too
listened to this on the way home, biggest complaint is that this record blends together wayyy too much. it's a good sound/vibe they have but it's repeated over and over
There are quite a few moments on this that feel like they're ripped directly from there's nothing wrong with love
The record blends, but I don't think it does so more than Rot Forever, and I find that with more listens things distinguish themselves more for me. I love the vibe tho
