If I sit down anywhere in public (restaurant, movie theater, waiting room chair, etc.) I can't sit on my couch with those same pants on, I need to change into clean ones.
i use hand sanitizer basically every time i come back to my desk (as well as intermittently throughout my time sitting, as well as of course if my hands get dirty)
I know this likely isn't a Strange Habit per se but it's a pet peeve regardless and it may just be me. I've always be a good speller and it bothers me when things are misspelled or the wrong version of a word is used in a book, magazine, article, etc. I let it slide on like forums and text and such but if it's in print in drives me crazy internally. The word i most commonly see used incorrectly is compliment vs complement. Anybody else like this or is it just me?
I am always curious what celebrity kids look like especially if they're around my age so I creep on Google images
I eat REALLY fast. When out to dinner with my girlfriend or friends I am constantly reminding myself to slow the fuck down. I don't know why I do it. I've always done it. My dad always tells me to "breathe when I eat." I have 2 siblings and growing up my parents usually cooked large dinners so it's not like I was rushing to scarf in my food before it was gone... Odd. Odd, gross and inexplicable to me.
haha i'm the opposite. I'm super slow! Drives my wife crazy! She said that she's tried to figure out why and basically I take large bites and chew ALOT more than most people haha.
Yep we're the opposite. I take large bites, chew a little and just wash it all down with whatever I'm drinking in the end. Gross.
I see what you did there...Funny! But I do agree, and that's why i let alot of things slide with social media and technology the way it is where everybody is on mobile. It's just one of my (many!)quirks haha.
I always stick my arm out of the door in the mornings to decide the temperature. I'm never sure what 70 degrees actually feels like until I test it out.
When I roll the windows down on my car, they all have to be at the same level. The driver side goes down a little slower than the rest, so I hit the button a little extra every time.
Everytime I take a shower I scrub it so it never gets dirty. I have a scrub brush and tooth brush in there for that reason.
I pick at my eyebrows and eyelashes. My mom would always tell me it'll make the hair grow back in weird directions but it's been fine this far. I guess it's not strange as much as it is a bad habit but I still bite my nails. ummmm... I scratch my own arm (not deep scratch but like a caress, like barely touching with the fingertips) when I'm super tired and about to fall asleep, sometimes I don't even notice I'm doing it at first. feels good and it's relaxing. The bliss of having someone do that to my back while I fall asleep is unrivaled.
I get anxiety about dumb shit. Particularly going next to someone else. If I close my eyes it's kind of like out of sight out of mind I guess
I bite the skin between my thumb and index finger when I am deep in concentration. Over time the skin there has roughened and taken on a darker shade. I do it on both hands but it's more pronounced on the right.
So does anyone else play beats by tapping their fingers? Someone made it sound like I have something wrong with me, which I didn't appreciate. The difference between me and someone having a nervous breakdown is I've got fucking rhythm.
I do as well but I'm usually having a nervous breakdown all the time so I'm sure I don't help your case
All day every day. My left index finger is my snare and my right index and middle finger are every thing else. Not weird. But a weird thing I do do (hah), is whenever I make a left turn and there is on coming traffic waiting at a light, I give em a wink as I pass by. I don't know why I do it and I hate myself for it and I know it's douchey and creepy... but for some reason I can't stop myself.
