-I brush my teeth -I have to use bar soap bc I don't feel like body wash gets me clean enough. I'm weird..I know they work just the same. It's a mental thing. -shampoo -wash my face After I get out -use leave in conditioner -clean my ears -apply deodorant -lastly moisturize while my pores are still open from the hot shower.
i have no identified shower procedure but i always pop out my retainer and brush my teeth AFTER i've showered and i really hate doing it any way, and i don't know why
I cannot fall asleep in total darkness and silence. I have to fall asleep watching something I'm familiar with enough so that it doesn't hold my attention and keep me awake but that isn't the same thing every night that I'm aware of what every next word is going to be. I have a playlist of every episode of QI ever compiled on YouTube and fall asleep to it every night and leave it playing all night until I wake up.
It's a British panel show (standing for Quite Interesting) that's been going for some years hosted by Stephen Fry. Each season represents a letter (starting at A, and they just finished M) with every episode in the season focusing on things beginning with that letter and debunking any clichés, stereotypes or myths on certain subjects. It's a comedy/entertainment show with actual substance to it, but the fact that it's hosted by Stephen Fry (or was, he is leaving after season "M") makes it even better to have on constantly. Here's a taster or few (might not do much for you from mere clips though). Rather frustratingly, I believe it's not able to be shown in America too much due to the small detail of the images they use in the background:
I do this but with 3/multiples of 3, and it gets way more convoluted. Almost anytime I see a series of numbers I try reduce it to get to a multiple of three. Sometimes it happens with words (word lengths or placement of a letter in the alphabet), and sometimes it happens when both are present, like on a license plate. It gets way more complicated and for literally no reason other than my brain making me concentrate on something dumb instead of like my job or a conversation.
I've been following this thread for a while and I can't think of anything I do that's particularly strange. I'm sure there are things, they probably just seem normal to me since I'm the one doing them.
I finally threw out my area rug because I spent so much time trying to get it straight. It was getting ridiculous.
I do a similar thing for driving/traveling in general where I'll think of a ride somewhere as __ songs/albums long versus the actual amount of time.
There was a thread on AP where they talked about showering order. Someone called people who wash their body first, then shampoo their hair "perverts" or something and since then I've alway shampooed first.
The point I stick with is that the water you use to clean your head is washing over your body. You should shampoo first then wash your body so dirty hair water isnt hitting your clean body
But really I wash my hair first. No logical reason. It's just what feels the grossest when I wake up so I do it first.
Very strange habit but I look at my feet when I walk on tile floor because I always take steps 2 tiles up 1 tile over like a knight on a chessboard. Have done it since I was 5.
