Tear Me To Pieces in growing on me. Its pretty good. I think I enjoy Wolves more, but I appreciate the intentions and craftsmanship in Tear Me To Pieces. Also, I miss Phil!
my friend went to the Chicago stop on Friday night and said nobody got into or moved for youth fountain, that makes me a sad panda. YF rips!
The crowd definitely gave them a decent response and liked what they heard in Portland, but nobody knew who they were. Super glad they are finally doing a headliner in the spring!
same, im gonna go to that since ive never seen them before, been listening to em for years!! all 3 full lengths have been sssolid!
Yep. Together In Lonesome was easily one of my favorite albums last year. It sucks it didn’t seem to get much traction, but hopefully the SOTY tour will help them draw some new fans. Tyler has consistently cranked out bangers the last 5-6 years and it would be nice for him to receive more recognition.
I totally get that. Honestly I had no idea who they were before the SOTY tour and decided to check out some of their music. A lot of it seemed super catchy and energetic.
I love YF, but can totally see the lyrics being a bit too much for some people. It’s the type of music that would have done very well 10-15 years ago, but has kind of died off.
that second post is about trophy eyes and it's not for you, least you gave his new album a shot, his second album is my favorite but like @koryoreo said, he's been crushing it for years. he came into his own with all the writing and performing most if not all the instruments too. so it's been rad to see him grow as a musician.
Now that I’ve seen page avenue in full twice (10 and 20 year tours). I’d love to see in the wake of determination in full next year for its 20 year anniversary. Album is full of bangers and prolly my fave album by them if I’m being completely honest
They did both albums in 2020 when everything was shut down. They lived streamed them. Think it was called the ghost singals or something. They also did page avenue
Goldfinger and soty are on a festival together in April. Wonder how that’s gonna go since Phil is in Goldfinger and was kicked out of soty. Don’t know if they are all still friends or if there’s bad blood there
Black Swan rips and is my favorite but to be honest, I'm not sure I'd wanna hear it live with just one guitar. Btw, anyone have those Ghost Signals by chance?
Haven't kept up with them in a while - they only have one guitar player now? Do they use backing tracks or are parts just missing?
Adam does backing vocals and the 2nd guitar parts is just missing. Like I said on Friday they really need a 2nd guitarist for live shows
