ah touché, in the wake is my favorite album from them too but i just thought it got ignored usually anyways, i haven't seen them in a decade probably so i would assume it would be all page and new stuff so i wasn't surprised but i fuck with their whole discography, i just haven't seen them in forever!
That new Youth Fountain record (out tomorrow) is shaping up to be really good. Loved the first one, felt the second one was a little bland, but the songs and clips I've heard from the new one are really strong.
i fuckin love the second YF album, it hits so hard dude, the last two tracks are my favorite, give em a relisten, they rip!!
SD show was a blast, SOTY was great as always but one of my bigger takeaways is that I would not be surprised if Youth Fountain blows up with this record.
Youth Fountains new record is great. Band is incredibly underrated and I’m just as excited to see them as I am SOTY. FYS is just a bonus at this point.
i wanna go in January when it's by me, its same lineup, but instead of fys its we the kings, and that band suckssssssssss
Yeah I’m happy I got FYS instead of WTK. That’s an odd pairing for sure. WTK was always more part of the neon pop punk crowd and one of the weaker bands in that scene if you ask me. You should still go. YF/SOTY is more than worth going for.
One of the best shows I’ve ever been too. Youth Fountain and FYS both killed it. SOTY is a top five live band for me. They still sound absolutely flawless and have tons of energy. The new songs also rip live so I didn’t mind not hearing anything off of the other albums. The show was nearly sold out and this tour seems to be doing really well. Really happy for them after not touring a ton the past ten years.
If i hadn't done 2 concerts already since the summer, I totally would have gone! That plus a busy Fall schedule made it hard to try to make a show. Got to see them with yellowcard at least!
Tonight is the final night of the page avenue 20 year tour. Crazy it’s already been 20 years. I saw them for the first time 20 years ago almost to the day on the linkin park meteora world tour in 2004. The Chicago stop of that tour was January 29th
Were you at Concord? Wife and I were right in front of the soundboard and completely agree about a second guitarist being needed.
