some guy from St. Louis wrote this in a Thrice fb fangroup: another guy wrote: take it with a grain of salt because, you know, some dudes on the internet wrote it
Oh, it won’t happen again (especially with Phil being good friends with him now), but I’d actually love to hear what these guys would put out working With Feldy again. Whether it be one song or an EP...it’d be interesting to hear. Sprinkle killed it on the last album though, so I’d be just as happy if he worked with them again for the next album.
I think he did. On the Jordan Phoenix podcast from July 22nd. I'm sure Feldmann can be professional enough to have Phil as a bandmember/friend and still work with SOTY. Kicking Phil out was most likely a personal matter, as many have mentioned before. And I think talking about it would threaten the privacy of those involved (Phil's ex and Ryan's wife).
Re: Feldy- Agreed. Mike Herrera had Darren Pfiefer(sp) the old Goldfinger drummer on his podcast a couple times after he had left the band and the bulk of the episodes were Darrin talking shit about Feldman. Mike has still been in Goldfinger after all that. This is Feldmans job and I think that’s exactly how he sees it.
i think they are, Ryan had some IG stories a month or so ago about him FaceTiming with Feldy about something
My guess is either a live stream show (they said pretty recently they wanted to eventually do a ‘music video quality’ live stream) or new music (they’ve been on the studio off and on since December)
The past few days I’ve been listening to The Black Swan non stop. That album has aged like wine and the lyrics apply more than ever with all the shit going on right now.
Seems a few artists have been going down this route this week. I’ve had emails from Avril Lavgine and Machine Gun Kelly announcing that they’re doing streaming shows and I bet there’s more to come.
