Every song holds up so well for me. Wolves is maybe the one weak track

Oh that was meant entirely as a joke. For real though, this album holds up super strong for what it is even if it doesn't have that heaviness I want.

no no no. Delete this right now. I have never said this album wasn't good and I didn't like every song. Go through the chat lol.

But I will stand by it's a missed op to not have the fast heavy paced songs we all love by them and there is a lack of guitar across the album. You can still love something and realize its flaws.

 

There was a previous discussion about why Phil is not a part of the band anymore.

It could have nothing to do with him leaving the band, but man that'd be so crazy if true. I doubt anyone will ever say anything regarding it though so we'll probably never know for sure.

Really wish Wolves had done more for me. I'm glad they're back, but I hope they bring it a little harder on the next album.

 

I also agree with this, the last part at least. Even though I like every song and glad I have it, I want this to be a one and done type of style for them. More guitarz peez.

What’s the story?

 

Basically, it is alleged that the woman that the governor sexually abused was Phil’s wife.

I just double checked and it is! I'd search again because I would be upset along with you if I couldn't find it.

 

I would really love for them to work with Elvis Baskette again. I think The Black Swan and The Constant are their best sounding records.

 

Yeah he rules. He also did my favorite Chevelle albums.

 

He’s good at getting guitar sounds. He’s able to capture dirty tones without sacrificing clarity.

 

He probably records all guitarists through a Line 6 Spyder obvs
