Hot take, I think all 4 LPs are 10/10, but Page is my least favorite

 

Yeah, that's definitely hot

 

I still love it as a whole, but if we were in some crazy scenario where I had to let one go......it'd be that one. The other 3 are just that strong!

 

I feel like just like TBS Tell All Your Friends and Senses Fail Let It Enfold You, people let nostalgia get in the way. All 3 bands have gotten better with later releases without a doubt.

There's just no way I could ever agree that The Constant is a better record than Page Avenue. Nostalgia doesn't factor into that decision for me at all

See, if I did a song ranking, songs like Children Sing, Dream is Over, Won Threw Eight, Holding On To You, I'm Alive, To The Burial, Ten Years Down, Eye for an Eye and even the two bonus tracks Unsung Friend and Tonight we Fall over any PA song. That's the reason I'd rank it higher.

Dive Right In, Swallow the Knife and Burning Years might be the only 3 songs on that album that make it out above any song from Wake/Black/Constant IMO.

no no no, it sounds great on 10 Years and Counting and is a good song, but weakest song on Page. Come on now sir!

If we aren't talking quality anymore, I guess we can talk weakest tracks on albums.

My favorite part of razor blades is when they just go yeeeaaahhhhh ohhhh yeahhhhh yeahhhh the whole song.

Even the band thinks it's the weakest on the album. They never played it until they did the 10 year tour and haven't since

 

Divide and Conquer is probably my least favorite on Page Avenue. Or Swallow The Knife. But I still like every song on that album.
