Hey man, I just go with the album that has The Dream is Over, Won Threw Ate and Eye for an Eye. Don't hate. Also Children Sing is always going to be a favorite, and Holding Onto You will always be my favorite slow jam of theirs.
Wolves = The Black Swan > Page Avenue > ITWOD > The Constant Sorry @Davjs I know you'll hate my ranking.
To be completely honest, I love this band just being talked about so I don't hate it lol, but it is wrong I loved their set last Saturday and it was mostly all Page and Wolves songs lol.
You know we never agreed on the best tracks for this band. Won Threw Ate and Eye For An Eye might be my least favorites from The Constant.
Yeah, but to be fair a lot of backing vocal parts of those songs are whoa whoas and bang bangs lol. On their older stuff I could feel it missing but not enough to detract from the show at all. Dan stepped it up a lot honestly.
Having gone as long as I did without seeing them I have no room for comparison. But it’s good enough to know I didn’t notice the difference much
I actually thought The Constant was a bit of a letdown initially. It sounded just like Black Swan Part 2 in my ears, whereas I was hoping they would progress even more. After a couple of years, it really grew on me. I still think it’s a travesty that they have never busted out Won Threw Ate live.
Both Wolves and Constant had me let down initially too actually but grew on me so much and it's hard to deny the quality of the songs on each.
A few people laughed at us, but surprised that chant didn't catch on. Every other person at the show is a sissy.
Come down next year (they normally do a show a year in STL). @Bad Frequencies said he's down to come down again!
