It really is a shame that Adam couldn't come back with Phil in the group. Do we know if there will be a next album though?
I associate Wolves with The Last Jedi for some reason, both came out around the same time. The former didn't have staying power for me as well. I'm just not a fan of the sound they were going for, too safe and reminiscent of Page Avenue. I've always been more drawn to their heavier side, so it means that I should prefer Bang Bang, Miracle, and Mike Cronin over the rest of the record, but even those songs felt like retreads of older ones. I did appreciate the synth pop and tropical pop influences on a few songs though. Not sure where they go from here musically.
Yeah Ryan posted that after he’s done editing the Miracle video, he’s going into new album writing mode
That show is right up my alley as I love both bands....but baby number 3 is due pretty close to then and I don't think I'll be able to go
It's weird that this album is almost a year old already. I listened to it again today for the first time in a while and I think giving it a rest was a good thing. I still can't put it above ITWOD, The Black Swan, or The Constant, but it's a damn good record for sure. I still can't get into Can Anybody Hear Me, My Home, and Like Ghosts, but the rest are definitely worthy of a "Best of SOTY" playlist. I really hope we get a new album by the end of 2020.
Time did fly. I'm with you on the ranking, but I really so like all the tracks, even the 3 you listed. I hope we get more How Can This Go On and Miracle style from the next one.

He's done all the videos for Wolves, with Adam's help I believe. Hopefully you've seen that music documentary they did called Who Killed the Music Industry. It was really well done. Talented dudes indeed.
I have the DVD, but they also put it on vimeo to watch with a password. I'll see if I can find the email and get it to anyone who wants it.
