I was kicked out of my band in high school. I had no idea, they were practicing with a new drummer behind my back. I found out through MySpace on the bands page and than our singer private messaged me and told me I was out. It was super fucked.
If they would at least tell us why he was kicked out, we could be more understanding. I doubt anyone would kick out a good friend just to be dicks.
He wouldn't stop doing spin kicks with the bass and refused to wear a Pantera shirt and cameo shorts. It had to be done.
I should have quoted you That's what TBS did when they brought back the original members, kicked out the New Again-era members to replace them
This is just strange. I truthfully don't think they would just kick the man out without a good reason. They're one of the most down-to-earth bands I've ever followed, so I don't think ego has anything to do with it.
I just don't get that. They've made it clear that they aren't trying to take over the world as SOTY anymore, so why would they be threatened by his success?
Yeah, the disparity between their statements really makes this weird. I hate saying that bands "owe" fans anything, but I do wish that they would have given us a better statement than that. There's way more to this than they're letting on.
Well Phil did the best he could, the band not so much. They pulled off a cowardly move, in this instance they definitely owe the fans something.
