Even though it's the weakest of all their closers, it sounds pretty good live, esp that ending. Kinda wish they took out the spoken word part out live, but that's just the part of me that doesn't like sampling live.
I'll give it to you that it's the best after, Is This Our Fate, Welcome To Our New War, Falling Down and Eye For An Eye. I'll always be here to defend the previous albums
Oh I know, I just gotta give them the love they deserve. They've been such a staple in my life since each album dropped. This thread cant be filled with only "easilest their best" and "By far their best work". Just balancing it all out
From videos I've seen online, so far they are playing How Can We Go On, Bang Bang, I Swear I'm Ok Acousitc, Praying for Rain and Can Anyone Hear Me. I wonder how many new songs they will bring into their sets, I wouldn't have thought Can Anyone Hear Me would make it but that's cool. Hoping for A Part of Me.
How Can We Go On and Part of Me are slowly becoming favorites over Bang Bang and Miracle. On listen though number 30 now lol
I think this would be my setlist, but it was hard to make as I had to leave out a lot of great tracks... Part of Me Choose Your Fate And the Hero Will Drown Ghost of You and I Goodnight My Love Our Time is Now Bang Bang Take Me Back Black Swan Terrified Sidewalks Holding on to You Cannonball Falling Down Stereo Dream is Over In the Shadows Give Up My Heart Encore: Youth / I Swear I'm Okay Until the Day I Die Praying for Rain
Youth/I Swear I'm Okay would actually make a really cool song from them to come back onstage to, good call!
I think the only songs that aren't doing much for me right now are My Home and Like Ghosts (love the guitar in the intro though). Still, I've only had the album for four days so there's plenty of time for my feelings to change.
Like Ghosts is def my least fav. If you would have asked me days ago, I would have said My Home and Give Up My Heart, but those have grown on me a ton. They both are similar though with gang vocals and all. I think the placing is strange to have Give Up My Heart, a heavy song, and then back to the same type of song. I would have spaced those two out a bit more.
I didn't mean to say I don't like it, I enjoy the song, but if we had to rank I think I'd be my last.
The intro reminds me of a moody Deftones song, which I'm super into, but the rest of the song doesn't do it for me.
Ok I think I am ready to rank favorites on this album....before I change my mind: Miracle Youth/ I Swear, I’m Okay How Can We Go On Bang Bang My Home A Part Of Me Praying For Rain Give Up My Heart Goodnight The Eternal Battle Ghosts Can Anybody Hear Me But I like them all
