I just always perceived it as bro rock and didn’t bother

A Part Of Me might be my current favorite on the new album.

 

I think mine's currently Can Anybody Hear Me?

However it changes, like hourly.

 

A Part Of Me, How Can I Go On and My Home are currently the three way tie for that title but it keeps changing

 

Favs for me are probably between: Bang Bang, Miracle, Part of Me and Youth/I Swear I'm Ok.

Still too fresh to pick.

 

Yeah I’m having trouble picking too because it’s so fresh and I like them all

 

No Until the Day I Die and Sidewalks makes it pretty much impossible though.

 

They were so good. Their singer is the touring bassist/keyboardist in 30 Seconds to Mars and their drummer is a photographer. He actually shot the Wolves album cover.

 

I got into them after they released their last album, so I'm sad I didn't get to be excited for an album by them.

 

Lemme think about this setlist...

 

I've seem them yearly since 2004. Love those songs, but I'd be ok if I never heard them again live. I wouldn't replace anything on there for one of the two.

 

Who else loves the drums in Give Up My Heart?

 

I actually really like that album. Must have sold poorly though. Im surprised island even put it out. Took them forever to finish it.

 

Pretty decent comeback album. It feels a bit samey at times in the sense that they mostly stuck with their poppier side. Mike Cronin might have been my favorite track on first listen and I would’ve liked to hear more of that type of song mixed in. It has the feel of a safe comeback album, but the songs are mostly solid. Production is good, you can hear Sprinkle’s fingerprints all over this.

But I thought The Canyon was album of the year? Or is it so good that it's bad?
