This song is too slimmed down for its own good. The breakdown should’ve been at least a little longer and the ending is way too abrupt. I get wanting to be concise and catchy, but this is too far.
I remember hearing that main riff in the studio videos and wondering how it would be implemented. The bridge rules (sounds like something from ITWOD) but I agree is WAY too short.
They are releasing yet another single next week. 2005 will be out on the 15th. half of this will be out before release date
They did a bunch last year more so then they did in recent years and they are touring again this year
I know we're in 2022/2023, but I wouldn't consider a 2 week stint and a handful of one off festivals "a bunch"... I'm greedy and ready to see them on a proper 4-6 week tour (in which they remember to not skip Austin)
It seems like they have hinted a few times at a bigger touring presence this year? And yeah I'll say it again, not a huge fan of this album rollout format.
Yeah they have said that repeatedly for months on their podcast pbueddi "huge tours coming up with this album. Gonna be playing so many shows, I cant wait" - Ryan (guy IN band) "They wont be doing more than 5-10 shows in support of this album this year" - Random guy on internet
Dug this song a lot! I like the reference to Until The Day I Die. I know a lot of people prefer the harder side of this band, but I appreciate when they do this type of stuff as well. They are really good at it. So far Id say: Real Life Tear Me To Pieces 2005 War Take The Ride
The last three songs released aren’t bad. But man, all of these singles have been lean and overly crafted for radio in my opinion. Like, they just sound safe if that makes sense.
