Honestly haven't listened to anything after Page Ave. (which was an absolute banger front to back). I just listened to these new tracks and am impressed! Makes me feel like it's 2004 again!
Banger I could hear additional guitar tracks in the background too; hopefully they get big enough to get a 2nd guitarist to actually play those parts
Every release date is pushed back so far due to the vinyl production being delayed. Evidently only one plant produces vinyl and they’re overloaded ATM
Title track is a big step in the direction I like. Outro rules and Dan has one of the best screams of all time.
Well ya I get that , but I honestly think artists would get better traction/engagement with their rollouts if they just sat on the material until they were 2-3 months out and then drop 2, maaaybe 3 pre release songs instead of 5-6 month rollouts with 5-6 songs released prior to the album.
Don't get me wrong, Im super excited for this album. But the more I think about it, the more it bothers me that we are like 5 months away from release. Just way too far away.
Cool song, definitely calls back to their past more than Wolves. And I love Wolves! Love that there's a song named 2005 on the album, hoping it's a real ITWOD-type song
They’ve really been hyping this song on their podcast since it was recorded last Spring. Really curious to hear it myself
Still waiting on my simple plan vinyl and that album came out in may. I much prefer that way of doing it.
Anti flag planned their roll out to be this way tho. They where always gonna release a bunch of singles before the full album dropped
I'm pretty sure SOTY planned their rollout like this too, they mentioned it in passing on the podcast. Their new management convinced them it was the way to go.
Skindred just dropped a single and announced their new album for release in AUGUST of next year. Ridiculous.
Why would their management say that? I feel like most people don't like these long rollouts but I guess they would know better than I would.
