It’s a shame that Buddy’s vocals have not held up. I can’t imagine why anyone who’s seen this band once over the last five years would want to see them again. I hate to say that! I think Renacer is probably their masterpiece and The Fire might be right behind it. Love those records so much but this band is just not good live. Hope they sell the tour out anyway

    been around a few times

Love seeing Senses Fail live, having seen them 2x the past 12 months alone. Buddy sounds great and enthusiastic and it's all you want for a live show

Senses Fail having a game of Uno with them and a custom deck in the VIP package is hilarious.

Yeah when I saw him in December he sounded awful. Totally shot. I had fun for the most part but it was sad watching him sounding like that.

Even if Senses Fail is hit or miss live, Story of the Year puts on a fantastic show. They absolutely killed it on the Page Avenue tour. Excited to see Armor for Sleep for the first time since Warped 2006. Pretty cool tour and tickets were pretty affordable at $46 with fees. Can’t beat that price for such a stacked show.

I thought he was good at my sf/std show. Better than the last time I saw him, which was the drive thru invasion tour.

Buddy can be hit-or-miss vocally, even from song to song, but he is always enthusiastic and energetic. Story of the Year has crushed it every time I have seen them. Can't want to catch this.

Yeah where Buddy lacks the stage presence and band makeup for it. I had a blast during SF last year at the SF/STD tour

Let's not try and paint Buddy like he's Adam Lazzara, his voice isn't completely shot, he can still deliver the goods though it may not sound the same as 20 years ago.

seeing the discourse on this post being about buddy's live vocal chops had me doing a double take to see if I was on absolutepunk for a second there lol. but like if youve been going to SF shows for a minute youd know it was A LOT worse when buddy wasnt sober, and closeted/depressed. Any performance after the fire ERA as been great, peak live SF will always be the Renacer/PTTFYH era personally, but Ive seen them on the LINAWR tour and buddy sounded really good live (granted it was day 1 of that tour) but buddy sounded as good as he normally does post being sober

He’s never been a super strong vocalist (he’d probably tell you the same), but he’s so so so much better than he used to be.

Eh, I’d point people to the Warped Tour ‘25 videos on YouTube.

Someone on Reddit shared “Lady in a Blue Dress,” and when I played it my wife—who was doomscrolling next to me—looked up and said, “Oh my god, who is that?” She couldn’t believe how bad he sounded.

Senses Fail will always be my favorite band, but man, they’re brutal live these days. Like others have said, they peaked live during the heavier era. Even the hits sounded good. But by the Still Searching tour, his vocals had already taken a nosedive.

I love AFS and Page Avenue, but I just can’t keep shelling out money to watch emo bands recycle the same songs over and over.
