Did a discography run and I think it's pretty clear my favorites from them

    Wake
    Page
    Constant

    Pieces
    Swan
    Wolves

I know people love Black Swan, but aside from the first two songs I really didn't think they'd hit the mark. I get what they're going for but the songs don't stand up to the style. The Constant however, really brings the bangers back and achieved what I think Swan tried for. Tear Me To Pieces is better than it has any business being. Very curious to hear this next one

  2. I'm giving Page Avenue another chance and my feelings towards it haven't changed. Still bothered by Feldmann's squeaky clean production and all the bells and whistles he adds into the mix (the effects on the scream among other things). I find myself wishing the guitars had the bite they have on In The Wake of Determination, they too often sound drowned out by the low end and Feldmann's signature ringing snare here but oh well.

Still a solid debut though, I get why it's their most popular but ITWOD and The Black Swan (with all the b-sides) remain peak Story Of The Year for me.

  3. In The Wake Of Determination
    The Black Swan
    The Constant
    Wolves
    Page Avenue
    Tear Me To Pieces

I have barely listened to Tear Me To Pieces tbh, it was a disappointment overall. I don't think I'll ever put it above Page Avenue as the latter has more standouts.

Mark being front and center on the TBS pic is taking me out

Gasoline sounds so good live. Also crazy Dan can still scream super good live 25 plus years later
