But man, Future Boy Zoltron was so fucking relatable it hurt.

I'm kinda hoping that image is teasing a crossover somewhere down the road lol

If Steven Universe takes place in present day, I think the Mushroom War would've happened already. So unless they're two completely separate universes that somehow collided, I think a crossover could only happen due to some wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

 

Yeah, they're different universes for sure. There was a multiverse seen in Adventure Time tho, could lead to a cameo. Also things don't have to make sense it's cartoons.

 

I think both shows have set the standard higher than to not make sense. I mean, yeah, AT can be nonsensical at times, but never when it comes to world building.

 

A crossover is an interesting idea, but the shows differ so much in their established worlds, emotional tone, and characters. Adventure Time could easily set up some alternate universe apparatus, but I'm not sure how they'd pull off a crossover.

 

cute episode last night, thought it'd have far more revelations though based on the title

 

I may love, love, love Lapis, but Pearl crying makes me cri evry tiem. Can't decide who my favorite Gem is.

Yeah, I was kind of expecting something a little more out of the flashback (I stopped watching any previews the second I realized it was in the past), but it was a cute little episode.

 

next batch of episodes leaked. things get epic.

 

It was a really interesting arc, so many ways they can go from here.
