Yours truly is a guest on the latest Stereo Confidential podcast about Copeland’s incredible new album, Blushing. Here’s the Overcast link.

This was a lot of fun and I always enjoy talking about Copeland.

First time posting, long time visitor of the site. Been following Copeland here since In Motion and felt compelled to post after listening to most of this series. I was initially excited at the prospect of a podcast going through Copeland’s discography, but by the time I got through YAMS I was about done. I can’t help but feel like they didn’t give the band a fair shake. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting to hear a ton of positive things about Medicine Tree (understandable) or In Motion (which I personally enjoy but totally understand why others might not), but it felt like they didn’t have a good thing to say about any of the albums. Also a little disappointed that the “music talk” largely consisted of lyrical dissection with almost nothing about song composition and production (which to me are hallmarks of Copeland’s music).
