An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I wonder if they can't get the rights to those IPs if they might plug those roles with other King characters they can use?

if he hadn't died I would say Ewan's Danny would be an amazing sub-in for Ted. actually they could still do it and just say he's from a different level of the Tower lol

I think that could work but father Callahan is a must imo

  3. I think you can get around the Ted/low men stuff with some nifty screenwriting if you can't get the rights, but how do you adapt a DT series without having Fr. Callahan in it? Flanagan mentioned that specifically in his interview on Kingcast.

yeah for sure, Callahan's contribution is much larger and one of the best parts of the series. they'll hopefully make up for that latest Salem's movie barely giving him any screentime lol

  5. It's playing with fire, but you can always justify any changes as it's a different cycle than the one depicted in the books. Risky tho

Yeah I mean do they also plan to use Stephen King playing himself in the series

Lmao do people seriously think King is on the “list” because of that tweet. Get a grip

  10. The guy doing the audiobook for the DT series does a great King impression lmao

Not trying to make a conversation about this but this is something about It that has always weirded me the fuck out.

Orgy in IT - weird as fuck

tweet saying the Epstein list doesn’t exist - okay.

seems everyone lacks any nuance when reading the tweet. The dude is just saying it was something MAGA conservatives signal boosted to win votes. Is there a list? Maybe, maybe not.

  15. no I mean he is probably right that there is probably not literally a list and you are right that the idea of a literal list was made up by conservatives on twitter but there's definitely tons more info to be released and the people in power who are saying "there's no list!" are using that technically true fact to obscure the existence of the other, unreleased info. to be fair though he did not really put any nuance into that tweet either.

regardless i'm not saying he's evil now or anything was just making a lil jokey

  16. So I just moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago and the first thing I did was move all of my King books on to a shelf (and some random stragglers). Priorities.

I read the stand and under the dome this year and loved both of them. 11/22/63 is getting delivered today and that’s the next book I’m reading after I finish Timequake.
