I’m saving reading Under the Dome intentionally. I have been flying through his catalog for the last 3-4 years but I also try to pace myself because I don’t want to finish lol .. but Under the Dome may be the last one. I want to save an epic 1000+ page for when I finish em all haha
I feel like whatever they come up with for the Jaunt will never be able to compare with what we’ve imagined in our heads.
I’m really curious to see which titles I want to revisit once I’m caught up with Chat Sematary. I often wonder if making it a weekly podcast was a bad idea because of how quickly I’m going through the books. Thankfully, things should slow down quite a bit once I make it to Bazaar of Bad Dreams because there have been so many adaptations recently.
Watched the first episode of Mr. Mercedes the other day. It was... okay? For fans of the Bill Hodges trilogy, is it worth finishing?
i thought it was one of the best King adaptations, easily his best tv show. I don’t know if it will win you over if you don’t love it from the get go though
Double post -- but it will be interesting to see another version of Holly since I always think of Cynthia Erivo.
I looooove this version of Holly. She's perfect. And she's on Succession, so that's cool. Cynthia Erivo was also great, it's awesome that every version of the character (including the book) is so damn good.
Agreed. I saw this before The Outsider so she is the one I always picture in my head. Especially when I read If It Bleeds
This is going to sound super weird but since I always do audiobooks, I always think of Will Patton's voice with Holly.
I’m here for it, though I have a sinking feeling this might be one of those King stories that doesn’t make the translation to the screen very well.
For those who’ve read Joe Hill, how would you rank his novels? I’m currently reading NOS4A2 and heavily enjoying this one!
