Just got season 2 on dvd so I’m about to dive in to that. I don’t have the channel it’s on so have had to wait until it’s out elsewhere!

I’m currently listening to Pet Sematary on audible and have also listened to It. Both are incredible (so far). Does anyone have any recommendations of what to listen to next?

I’ve also ready cycle of the werewolf but that’s the extent of my Stephen king consumption

Dead Zone and Cujo are two I always rec to newer King readers. Christine is also a good way to go. If you want to try something that isn't scary and more serious than The Green Mile.

Strangely I've only read Cujo out of those

I am listening to The Talisman now. Any fans?

It's great. The sequel, Black House, is even better, one of my all time favorites. I always like to point out that Straub takes some getting use to because he's great but super dry.

It was one of my first King books so I couldn't really tell the difference

I still haven't read Black House so at some point I'll have to reread The Talisman to do that

Dr Sleep was excellent. No one gets King like Flanagan

Really enjoyed Doctor Sleep (haven’t read the book though). Currently making my way through Nightmares and Dreamscapes. His short story collections are always very hit and miss for me. I usually end up liking a handful or stories and not caring so much for the rest.

Now that I’m watching The Tommyknockers, I feel confident in saying that this is my least favorite story of King’s so far. Wasn’t a fan of the books and this 90s adaptation is just too much.

Is season 3 of Mr. Mercedes any good? Finders Keepers was my favorite book in the End of Watch trilogy.

Just finished The Stand. Idk how I feel about how it ended. I’m starting Mr. Mercedes now.

He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

I’ve been crawling through The Institute for the past month and a half but this last third of the book is really piquing my interest and it’s ramping up.

I have got NO idea where to even start with Stephen King, it's all so daunting and vast!

I’d start with a classic or the original source if you’ve seen one of the film adaptations.

The Shining, IT, or Misery are my recommendations

Good guy, but a bad dude

I’d start with some of his shorter work. Salem’s Lot, Misery, Geralds Game, Joyland, stuff like that.
