Hell fucking yes: Exclusive: Alexander Skarsgard to Play Randall Flagg in 'The Stand' on CBS All Access
I went to a random conference for work and a man named Randy from Arizona out of nowhere goes “Stephen King is my favorite author” and I stood up in excitement! He said Needful Things was his favorite!
Kickass Art Revealed for Scream Factory’s Upcoming ‘Silver Bullet’ Collector’s Edition Blu-ray oh hell yes haha
Started reading IT two days ago because I wanna see the movies but I wanna read the book first. Can't put it down but also kind of want to space it out so I don't scare the shit out of myself.
I'm exactly halfway through the audiobook of IT right now. It's a beast but it's easily my favorite of the dozen or so SK books I've read. The world-building (town-building?) of Derry is unreal.
Picked up The Institute yesterday for my flight back to LA. Read 20 pages and then fell asleep :D hoping to make a decent dent today on my day off
Also going through IT for the same reason. I'm not exactly the quickest reader though so it's taking me forever. Thoroughly enjoying what I've read so far though (about 40% or so).
Picked up two new books the other night. Christine and Joyland. I started with Joyland, love the pulp art cover with the old pocket size crime novel feel as well.
My roommate bought The Institute, so we're going to swap when we each finish our books. So far I've read Pet Sematary, The Shining, Doctor Sleep, IT, Mr Mercedes, Finders Keepers, The Outsider, The Dark Half, Salem's Lot, and the Green Mile. So I definitely still have my work cut out for me haha.
haha yeah definitely. when The Outsider came out I saw people mentioning the other books so I went back and read those three before jumping in
