I liked it. Wouldn't put it up there among my favorites of his but I enjoyed it and I don't remember it being very long either.
Finished Elevation yesterday. Not really my favorite from King. I don't know, it felt rushed maybe? I could see it in a short story collection maybe.
Read Elevation yesterday and I enjoyed it. Super quick read, too, which was nice. I'm hoping to have some time to start Cujo today. Side note: I'll be posting about the podcast in this thread if anyone wants to join the discussion (it's mostly just me posting the episodes right now). Podcast - Welcome to Geekdom/Chat Sematary
Audience Network Renews Stephen King Series “Mr. Mercedes” for a Third Season really wish I had this channel haha
I've just started Chat Sematary (thanks for the shout out in the intro episode!) and it's great so far. I will listen to the 'Salem's Lot ep after I read the book, which is up next after I finish The Stand.
my mom asked me if I watched that and I was completely unaware of it. I haven't read the book anyway, but if the show is good maybe I should
You’re welcome! Thanks for checking it out. Taking a break this week for both of my podcasts, but I have some episodes stacked up for this one.
Finished reading Cujo on Friday and watched the movie last night. Recording an episode on the book today and then I’ll be set to start the Gunslinger and then Christine.
Jason Bateman will direct the first two episodes. I’m more interested in this than I thought I’d be after finishing the book.
I have 370 pages left of The Stand. It's the Complete and Uncut version, so I wonder how much I've read that were added in this edition.
That's perfect. Finally HBO grabs a King property. Mendelsohn is one of my favorite actors so I've got no complaints.
I’ve been waiting until this gets released on blu Ray or SOMETHING. I’m not switching my service providers for a tv show, but I really want to watch this!
It's weird Mr Mercedes isn't on Blu... Looking forward to The Outsider even though I didn't like the book.
The Stand was good, but I felt like it got less interesting the longer it went on. The worldwide devastation of the superflu in the first third was positively riveting and my favorite chunk of the book. For a book called The Stand I thought the final confrontation would have been more interesting.
