Stephen King Cast and the blog I mentioned a few posts up are my favourites to check in on whenever I finish a book or movie!

 

IT took me literally over a year and two different stints to read the whole thing while the Stand took about 5-6 weeks.

I recently started going through his work in chronological order, too, so if you ever want to hop on the podcast to discuss, let me know! I saw via Overcast that you were recommending various episodes of The Losers Club so I may just have to check that out.

Whatever you do, stay away from The Mist tv show. It wasn’t great and from what I’ve heard, the movie is way better. There’s a ton of stuff in production now, too. So much to keep track of haha.

 

Just curious, is Rage available in the Bachman Books book? As in the full version of it? I feel like that is the only semi-affordable way to read/own that book since there are some copies available not worth $500.

I got The Bachman Books book from Half Price books - I'd recommend doing something like that if you can find it.

 

I've ordered it twice super cheap from amazon, and yeah as far as I know that's probably the best way to get Rage.

 

Man I totally forgot his new book is out next week!

 

The Outside has such an awesome book cover!

 

Finders Keepers was a solid entry in the trilogy. Moved on to Pet Semetary which I've read, but the new audiobook is by Michael C. Hall. Hope to have it done by the time The Outsider arrives.

 

I was a very big fan of Mr. Mercedes more than the general audience was. So I’m excited to dive deeper into that trilogy!

But I’m going to try and wrap up Joyland before the Outsider! Should be easy but it’s just a matter how busy I am this weekend.

 

I just happened to read Joe Hill’s novella “Loaded” the same day I watched the documentary Dear Zachary and I am a wreck right now

 

Excited to pick up The Outsider on my way home from work and begin it! That cover is so cool.

Going to finish my current book today so this is perfect timing. Excited for some new King!

 

Ugh, it didn't come in the mail before I left for work.

 

About 23 pages in, I love the cover of this book! So far I’m intrigued by how this will go down.

 

Totally agree on the cover. In person it looks amazing, wasn’t expecting that just from the images they posted online leading up to it!

 

200 pages into the Outsider. Happy to report I’m hooked!

 

Holy shit...spoilers for pg 283+ Holly Holly Holly!!!...I also love that there's a some love for kubrick...but still fuck the shining lol.

 

What do you think so far?? I left off right around 260 at that section break.
