These are pretty great, especially the Deadpool/The Shining one. Line it is Drawn: Stephen King Comic Book Mash-Ups!
Barnes and Nobles had this deal where Finders Keepers and Revival (both brand new hardcover) were $6.98 each. I couldn't resist. I haven't heard much about Revival but for that price I'll buy it. I wanted to begin the Mr. Mercedes books so this was a nice surprise, since I bought Mr. Mercedes (hardcover and nearly untouched) at a used book store for literally $7.
I began Mr. Mercedes today and wow, it's quite depressing reading the intro pages to that book after the events in Charlottesville and Barcelona.
Watched Episode 1 of the show the other day with the wife and she didn't know anything about it and felt uncomfortable about it. Was really well done in the show but definitely makes you queasy as well
Finished reading Night Shift last night. Really enjoyed a good amount of the stories in there. I like how some tied in to Jerusalem's Lot, too. Since I've already read The Shining, I'll be reading The Stand next most likely. Unless I decide to go out of order and read one of his more recent books. Not sure just yet since I have a book to read for Missaligned first.
Will do. The book I'm reading for the podcast should be a fairly quick read. So I should be able to start The Stand by the end of the week.
Haven't made it to this novella just yet, but I had no idea this was coming. Netflix Sets Premiere Date for Stephen King's '1922'; First Images - Bloody Disgusting
I keep forgetting it's a thing, haha. I've noticed the reviews staying pretty middle of the road, C average-ish. Still killing me that I can't watch Mr Mercedes (easily)
Yeah that's pretty much where I've been at with it. Hidden Remote doesn't do a grading system but I feel like that's about where my writing comes across with it. I'm wondering if that'll be on Hulu or something later. I might skip ahead to that book if it lands on a streaming service I use.
I'm at the Fall of Gilead in the comics and knowing that everyone dies is not making it any easier. My heart is breaking over each and every death. (which probably sounds spoilery if you haven't read the books, but it's not)
Yeah I can imagine that not sitting well after the past week. I'm glad the show seems well, I'm 200 pages into the book and very into it!
lol, just had the first day of my English Theory class and it only took about ten minutes for my professor to call Stephen King crap haha. He put Stephen King and Stephanie Meyer in the same sentence -_-
