I did not realize they were going to do two films until yesterday. Interesting choice considering how the book is written. Either way, when Georgie looks down that sewer drain...ffffuuuuuuu
New book out in October. This announcement surprised me. Was this on anyone's radar? Stephen King and Son Owen Preview Excerpt, Eerie Cover of 'Sleeping Beauties' — Exclusive
Yeah saw the elevator pitch awhile back but there wasn't more than "woman in prison." That plot sounds really cool though and I dig the cover. I actually thought they said it was coming out early in the year so I was expecting it sooner, ha. and omg that IT trailer
So in the new Spontaneanation, Paul F Tompkins has his Superego fellows with him there, and they do something called Forgotten Classics where they improv an classic book that none of them have read based only on the first and last line. I don't know if they confirmed it, but Paul mentions that they might be doing the Stand which would be the best thing ever.
@Ryan Gardner joined me for a Stephen King podcast. We talk favorites, adaptations, and more. Stephen King
Hmm, they obviously are changing a lot. I'd be more excited if Under the Dome hadn't happened. We'll see.
At the very least, the trailer is a nice reminder that I need to watch The Mist again. Got to check out that black and white version
@Vivatoto I literally 100% forgot about the Under the Dome series, and I watched a good amount of it. Lol
I love that ending too. And the black and white version is incredible. This looks... average. I don't have high hopes with how horrid UtD turned out. Plus -- what's Spike's track record with TV shows?
really, really not excited by the trailer I'll probably wait to see some thoughts from you guys on it before I take a chance
two things, so happy to see people love the ending. I feel like I have to defend it more often than not. and the other... there's a black and white version?? I need this.
Half of my friends despise the ending and half love it haha. The black and white version is on the blu-ray and it's definitely worth checking out!
just watched a clip of the director explaining the decision of black and white. it sounds perfect for this film. to amazon I go! haha
