Because I've never seen the original miniseries (I never caught it as a kid, unfortunately) I'm more excited for the Gerald's Game adaptation, but I'm definitely stoked on this too. I've become a big fan of Clue recently though, so I need to check out my man Tim Curry sooner than later
Started Carrie today. I'll probably attempt to make my way through in chronological order aside from the books I've already read.
This film is starting to look super creepy to me, cant wait to watch it with my best friend. We always watch horror movies together and have a blast.
There was a poster for IT posted in the horror thread, it's so perfect. Just a little thing, but the tagline is "You'll float too" and I love that that's something that is creepy on it's own but would not make sense unless you've read the book/seen the miniseries. It really seems like they are making this for the fans, which makes me happy because I don't care about anyone else, muhaha
dang, I'm just now realizing that Sullivan's "Down Here We All Float" is an IT reference. don't know how I never caught that before.
I finished The Dark Tower series last year (save for Wind Through the Keyhole) and it's still the only thing by King that I've ever read but I absolutely loved it. I feel like I should read The Stand.
But if you're going to read it, might as well be the super long version with the extra 400 pages or whatever that they originally had him cut out
There are a bunch of great pictures on the director's instagram. I particularly like the storyboard picture titled The Descent. Andy Muschietti (@andy_muschietti) • Instagram photos and videos
