Because I've never seen the original miniseries (I never caught it as a kid, unfortunately) I'm more excited for the Gerald's Game adaptation, but I'm definitely stoked on this too.

I've become a big fan of Clue recently though, so I need to check out my man Tim Curry sooner than later

 

Oh yeah, Gerald's Game is going to be the best, no doubt about that.

Super creepy

 

Started Carrie today. I'll probably attempt to make my way through in chronological order aside from the books I've already read.

 

And I finished Carrie today. Might do a non-Stephen King book or two before diving into Salem's Lot.

 

This film is starting to look super creepy to me, cant wait to watch it with my best friend. We always watch horror movies together and have a blast.

There was a poster for IT posted in the horror thread, it's so perfect. Just a little thing, but the tagline is "You'll float too" and I love that that's something that is creepy on it's own but would not make sense unless you've read the book/seen the miniseries. It really seems like they are making this for the fans, which makes me happy because I don't care about anyone else, muhaha

 

I still need to finish this dang book. I have like 400 pages left.

 

This will be my summer read. Hadn't read it in about 15 years.

 

Possibly my favorite King book. Very excited for the movie.

I haven't heard of that one. I thought I had at least tangentially read about everything he's done

 

dang, I'm just now realizing that Sullivan's "Down Here We All Float" is an IT reference. don't know how I never caught that before.

I finished The Dark Tower series last year (save for Wind Through the Keyhole) and it's still the only thing by King that I've ever read but I absolutely loved it. I feel like I should read The Stand.

 

Yes you should.

 

But if you're going to read it, might as well be the super long version with the extra 400 pages or whatever that they originally had him cut out
