Steel Train

Steel Train just reunited at the Ally Coalition's 10th Annual Talent Show, and I realized we have no Steel Train thread so what better time then to start one! What's your favorite Steel Train album/songs?

 

Need those first two albums on vinyl and also a tour.

Definitely not expecting the latter, but the vinyl seems like easy money for Drive-Thru/Jack/whoever owns the rights now.

 

One of the best to ever do it. The Steel Train / Format / Limbeck / hellogoodbye / Ruebens Accompice / Honorary Title scene was unrivaled, I went to so many/all those tours. Was lucky to see Steel Train 6 times while they were active and got to meet Jack enough times that he recognized me on the street during one of the first fun. tours and asked me for a good local lunch rec for him and his family. Anyway, self titled is one of my favorite albums ever period and Trampoline is way up there as well. Love the early stuff but it's definitely spottier.

 

God I was obsessed with the format, limbeck, honorary title, and steel train for a period in high school. What a time

 

Trampoline is tops for me but the self-titled has higher highs
