Last night was the annual Ally Coalition Talent Show, a holiday benefit show put on by Jack and Rachel Antonoff. Last night had a bunch of special guest show up, including Turnstile’s Brandan Yates and the return of Steel Train. Some fan-shot videos can be found below.

I still remember "blown away" popping up on the old Drive-Thru site and just being like "what the fuck is this?"

Love me some Steel Train, gives me hope that they will maybe do some shows since their debut album turns 20 next year. Even though they barely played stuff from that album later in their career. Also hope that the “new” Drive Thru releases their albums next year on vinyl. I remember reading that Jack is very involved on the albums being issued on vinyl and maybe this is just the start for it all being released next year.

Blown Away is the only song I know from Steel Train, because of the Drive Thru samplers. It always seemed so absurdly random to me that Jack A was in that band.

I love this band so much. I love his work with fun, Bleachers, and his production work, but ST will always be special to me. I got the chance to see them several times while they were active, and I do own the S/T on vinyl...but I'll always wish for more!

For you my dear, 1969, and Twilight Tales were some of my favorite releases of the early 2000's. I would love to see a reunion tour

Even more random that he dated Scarlett Johansson in high school and thanks her in the For You My Dear liner notes.

I’ll never get over Scott Irby-Ranniar’s vocals.
