I didn't love their ep with the really long name, but we'll see if this is any different

Great timing to be releasing an album, stoked to dig into this after hearing the singles

 

This is incredible. First listen , and I've never heard this band before. Im blown away.

Viewing

first thing I've bought from no sleep in a while, feels like

 

WHOA. Just listened to the first song. Some MWY [Untitled] vibes as well. It's been a good while since I was blown away by an opening track on an album from a new band.

EDIT: Oh the second song, this is why y'all were making Touche Amore and Xerxes comparisons, haha.

 

So this was a weird album to me, because the first song is 100% my jam but the rest of the album never clicked as well as that song.

 

I discovered this band from the emo thread. I was just about to say they remind me of Balance and Composure, then I saw Drew’s RIYL lol. Good stuff.

 

Surprised this didn’t rly take off here tbh

 

I feel like if this was still AP, it would have. This site has kinda moved away from the genre and more to less heavy music.

 

I dunno, the description of this album sounds tailor made for me, but outside of the opener, it just doesn't click. Kind of seems like a band that could write my AOTY further down the line though.

 

I think the lack of touring for a lot of bands have hurt discussions - I feel the same about a lot of newer records (Dogleg, Charmer, END, I'm Glad It's You) that are fucking great yet aren't a huge focus.

 

Checked this out and I’m into it
