I do confirm it rips, it flows very well for a screamo album over 60 minutes. What a great year for screamo.
Was not expecting those clean vocals in Pablo Alto, I think I need to go back through their stuff lol
Yeah this whole album is spectacular- just wish it came out during the cooling of the seasons though lol

the blind girls record is insane also I spoke with Jared about this album on Friday and will try to have the interview up within the week
Chris Teti from TWIABP had a hand in, if not totally produced this. Not surprising, I love his production style. Also the clean vocals in Bodega Head have no business being as good as they are.
Good album. Kinda started losing interest in the back half, but didn’t dislike anything in particular.
I've had this thought in my head for a while but wanted to get a few more listens to confirm: there are times when this starts to remind me of the other side of the post-hardcore spectrum, mostly A Lot Like Birds. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just because the shrieking sounded somewhat similar, but I think it's more than that. I think it's the cleaner production, clean vocals sprinkled in, and there's some guitar work really reminiscent of that side of the house.
I can certainly see that, but it reminds me more of a hypothetical "lost" album deafheaven made between Ordinary Corrupt Human Love and Infinite Granite + clean PH vocals
can't remember if I saw it posted here or not but the new Respire is incredible. beautiful cathartic phxc with a full orchestra, some really powerful, and it's somehow available for free
