As It Is would have helped fill these out. If this current lineup was the original one, they might have downgraded some venues in certain areas
This tour is kinda strange; a big band and three little bands (two of which have never toured the US (besides Warped for WC)) that have pretty much no draw playing big rooms. They must really be banking on SC to draw well, which I know they will, but still, these venues are big. ATC are so boring but I'll go 'cause I love SC and With Con. Curious to see how empty the venue will be.
I may go to this but won't get my ticket online just go at the door I don't see this tour selling out the agora theatre. The ballroom maybe but not that room
Champs has sold out almost every room that the SWS tour hit on this recent tour on their own tours. Not my style of music but in that scene theyre massive.
Something I didn't think about earlier is that this is SC's first actual real full US headline tour. Pure Noise Tour '14 was co-headline, ND/SC World Tour was co-headline, the Shot Boys summer '15 tour was a real headliner but it was a really short run. Will be nice to see them play an actual headlining set.
Tyler teased on Twitter that this will be their longest set to date and that their production will be the biggest for this tour...I'm super stoked.
They sold out the theater at the beginning of this year. They even expanded the cap an extra 200 people and it sold that out. 2200 people. Lineup was much stronger though so I also don't think it will do that well. It should still fill up though
They've taken ALOT of low paying tours here so I would imagine they found something with a better guarantee
I know personally they were getting $50 a night to play on the mayday tour! I'm sure that the sum tour was in that ball park if not a little more
This'll be State Champs fourth time at Baltimore Soundstage since Summer 2015 (Shot Boys, ND/SC, SWS) and I think the headliner/coheadliner both sold it out, I figured they'd be playing Rams Head for this run which TWY hit on the last tour and the MCS run.
$50. You'd be surprised how little the very first opening band gets paid on any tour. It's very common to be paid that little, or to even not be paid at all. It's hard to believe if you've never been on the booking side of things - that's why Merch sales are so important.
i know that tour sold out but that lineup was stacked to me personally openers are key and i dont see this selling out but def alot of walk ups for sure day of show
