Holy crap this is an absolutely amazing tour. I can't believe we finally get Don Broco in the states!

This tour is very skippable. Too bad As It Is didn't end up doing this.

I've never got into any of the openers, I'll go for State Champs though, they are a lot of fun live.

Could go for State Champs and Against The Current. See if it fits in.

Will probably end up skipping this but it's a Friday night and if there's nothing else going on I'll go see SC

Wow! This is coming to Concord Music Hall in Chicago. Real Friends/Knuckle Puck are playing there next month.

And it's two days before the NFG back to back to back shows. I'll probably pass.

    Things have changed.

And they'll draw more kids than the SWS headliner did.

No Buffalo date for two years now. Not too upset since the three openers aren't anything special.

You think so? Did you go to that show? It was the same weekend as Yellowcard.

    No but it drew terribly.

Maybe because it was the same weekend as Yellowcard and Good Charlotte?

  15. cricketandclover

    Things have changed.

Combination of different tours being too close together, expensive tickets and SWS' star diminishing a bit this year.

Wow, the only 4 concerts I want to go to are on 4 consecutive Tuesdays this spring. Going to have to get my days off switched so I can travel to Portland a lot.

I'm gonna assume this will be their last tour for awhile and they'll record a new record after

    Correct

I don't think this will sell out here because the support doesn't really draw all that much and will alienate a portion of their fanbase. Don't get me wrong I love With Confidence, but I think As It Is dropping hurt the tours drawing power. That AP tour was stacked and a bunch of people went for Neck Deep and Knucklepuck. I see a lot of those people skipping this tour.

Pretty typical band cycle here haha. They'll do a Fall Support Tour, Early Spring Headliner in US and International, Warped 2018 etc and then repeat the cycle

Wonder if they'll have local openers in addition to the openers on tour to help the draw. These venues seem big for SC in some markets

  23. cricketandclover

    Things have changed.

State Champs is a pretty big band.

True, it really just makes me think about whether they'll sell out the Summit here in Denver (1100 cap) headlining on their own for the first time. Last time they played Summit was with Neck Deep a year ago.
