great record. glad it's on the short side, keeps the songs sounding fresh. I like what they did with the intro and interlude

 

and the closer! love that three takes on the same idea and recurring theme sound so different from each other

 

This is great! Fun surprise to wake up to this morning.

 

Really good, fast record! Can't wait to give it a listen in the car today.

of sounding a lot like them, anyway; which, lol no, this cleaves way closer to Algernon Cadwallader or Snowing than it does that band with the sexual predator in it

 

finally heard this and i dont think i love it as much as i was hoping to

 

I love this. First album this year that I’ve really felt any desire to return to after one or two listens. Its brevity really works to its favor and it’s so much catchier than I thought it’d be.

I came in here to say this band reminds me of Tiny Moving Parts but more creative, more varied song writing and better lyrics (which it would be hard to get worse admittedly)

Tbh that tweet felt much more like gatekeeping than it did upholding the accountability of Dylan/TMP. Completely agree that there are other bands this sounds a little closer to if you’re a huge emo head, but it absolutely shares a sonic space with TMP as well and it’s no surprise that their name keeps coming up

All for leaving TMP to rot in the bowels of emo history but Stars Hollow guy seemed 100% more concerned with saying he writes better lyrics than Dylan and like 0% concerned with the fact that Dylan is a predator and TMP are complicit
