Already encountered a bug that completely broke a side quest and location I can no longer get to, but it appears to be common. But now I’ve encountered my own bug during a main quest, where you’re supposed to be stealthy, that’s simply impossible for me to complete the right way. So now I have to go guns blazing and slaughter a bunch of people that I don’t need to kill.
It’s already up there with the Elder Scrolls games and Fallout 3 for me, which are some of my favorite games of all time. This will be another one I sink 100s of hours into
Ending my first playthrough at around 43 hours. I’m on the last main quest and only have one final thing to do, but I have some stuff I want to tie up real quick. I’ve been avoiding spoilers so I can’t wait to see what the deal with NG+ is.
Played for like 90 minutes. Its fun. Will play some more tomorrow. But definitely a bit of a slow start. And not being able to even have the option to fly your ship from planet to planet is a bit disappointing. I also get that they aren't going for the "land yours ship anywhere" kinda vibe, but they could play a cutscene of your ship taking off and going into orbit rather than just giving you a loading screen when you take off. also a bit weird getting loading screens transitioning like inside a base or something. I guess that's cause dimensionally the innards of the base might not line up up with the outside of the base directly? idk. game is fun. gripes are relatively minor.
I’ve never particularly loved a Bethesda game for some reason but I just played like an hour and a half of this and I am hooked. Dog fight took me way too long to figure out but I’m pretty sure I got it now. Forcing myself to put it down for now so I’m not miserable at work tomorrow lol
for anyone playing on console and on any display other than a bonafide OLED, consider playing in SDR. i got real bothered real fast by how washed out and grey space looked, so i looked around and turned off HDR and it looks so much better! not a complaint post, game rules
managed to play for about an hour and a bit last night. think I'm gonna love this game as I do other BSG RPGs, but man I just know I'm gonna suck at piloting and dog fighting, maybe just 'cause it was midnight but felt overwhelmed in that little tutorial
Is there a way to rotate objects you’re holding around another axis? All I’ve figured out is using the trigger to rotate it one way but that means I can’t spin stuff to be upright
Rolled credits. Took me just under 18 hours. Now onto new game plus and it’s a whole different game. They really set it the endgame up well.
Gonna start this soon. As a completionist should I just go for the main quest first playthrough and worry about everything else later? (spoiler free please and thank you)
