The last 5 episodes of Resistance were actually great. The increased focus on the First Order, Tora becoming a bigger character, and significant cutback on Neeku really helped the show tremendously. I’m excited for S2 now, which if you would have told me that after Bibo, I would have called you crazy.

 

I was pleasantly surprised how much I was enjoying the last few episodes. Legit looking forward to them. Contrast that to the first few which were, not exciting to say the least.

 

I am 100% going to the Resistance panel at Celebration and can't wait to get a sneak peak at Season 2.

 

Kinda annoyed they announced there’s gonna be no camping out for Celebration panels. That was a really fun time to sit and connect with other fans. I mostly wish, though, they would have announced it sooner cause I would have gotten tickets for the Forcecenter show that’s now sold out, but I thought I’d be waiting in line Thursday night.

If I was a statue guy, I’d be all over that. Thankfully for my wallet, I just collect Funko Pops, which the Celebration Exclusives suck for this time. Especially compared to 2 years ago.

 

Bit random but for everybody that likes Resistance in here or likes Avatar:TLA I highly recommend The Dragon prince on Netflix

 

Honestly it's so fucking amazing. That show is next level. Kids these days have it so good.

 

Agreed with its amazingness but I’m too attached to my childhood properties to say kids have it good nowadays lol I feel a lot of stuff is downed down for them or very sensationalized/sensory-stimulation. I also just watched mighty morphin power rangers the movie and 3 ninjas and got a wave of nostalgia so my opinion is extra biased haha

 

Just off the top of my head these days kids have TDP, Trollhunters, 3 Below, and Young Justice which are all great. Have you checked out Trollhunters or 3 Below? Each are great.

 

Queen’s Shadow was really good. Once I realized it was more of a coming of age story and didn’t have a strong through line/plot, I really got into it and I really liked the character of Sabe and want to see more of her.

I'm excited for both this story and the idea of made for audio Star Wars content.

 

Im a little over 40% through Queen's Shadow and its finally getting some traction with me. I still feel the main plot hasnt taken shape, but Its definitely adding a lot to my appreciation for Padme, the politics are very interesting, and Im loving the dynamic between her and Sabe. I love imagining Natalie Portman and Keira Knightly in these roles again.

 

Just be aware there’s not a major plot that follows the whole book, it’s more so Padme coming into her own as a senator through a few stories/instances. Once I realized that I grew to love the book. The relationships you’re speaking of are the whole reason to read the book including some great canon connections.

 

Gotcha. thanks for the heads up. And yea the connections are very cool. We get both connected to the past with Tatooine and the future from Clone Wars with her meeting Klovis and Mina Bonteri.
