Want to see The Mandalorian and Grogu but I have not watched S3

 

Pretty enthralled with the end of Stranger Things. I’d love if the Duffer Brothers got a crack at an original Star Wars story outside of the Skywalker saga.

thought this was old news. not opposed provided that more projects make it out the door that aren't just TCW spinoffs or New Republic/Mandoverse-focused.

 

Only thing that has me trepidatious is the rumor that Filoni was not a fan of Andor and that tone. Otherwise I think this is a decent set up.

 

I’m fine with that switch up. I think it could lead to the star wars universe feeling more coherent which is for the better.

 

If this brings the Rian trilogy closer to fruition, I'm in

 

Hopefully if this is all accurate Dave is directly involved with the Kinberg trilogy. They wrote a lot of the Rebels family plot line for Rebels. I would love to see that style of storytelling translated on the big screen.

Whatever leadership shakeup happens next I would love a movie to get greenlit and made similar to the Superman DC situation to instill some excitement and good vibes.

Making the parks “canon” was always a huge mistake. Glad they’re seemingly taking notes from the Wizarding World parks. Just wish they would’ve thought about this before starting, so we could’ve gotten Star Wars lands based on more recognizable locations.

 

They can still incorporate some of the canon elements and just have Batuu be a trading post that has been visited by each era of characters throughout its history. The books/comics have done this sort of thing well and the amount of changes needed would be minimal.

 

I wonder if Star Wars will reach a point where it has more films unreleased than released.

read her exit interview with Deadline. interesting/sad that Dawn of the Jedi and THFBS are essentially relegated to the same status, considering that the latter was effectively scrapped. guess she's not ruling out both moving forward with the new CEOs. surprised New Jedi Order wasn't mentioned either - especially given Daisy's recent optimism. who the fuck knows at this point?

i guess nothing's official until it's filming, edited, and released, but at this point, what else is on the horizon? after Starfighter, i don't think anything film or TV is on the docket

 

Yeah, pretty sure New Jedi Order and Dawn of the Jedi were presumably next up after Starfighter. Hopefully the new heads hit the ground running and have some updates for D23 this year.
