Ok so a rip off of Jaws 4

 

Kylo / Ben arc holds up the best of any of the characters in the sequel trilogy by far imo. I think it was a mistake for him to have died at the end of 9. He should have gone into exile Yoda style or been ambitiously missing at the end. I think it would have been a lot more resonant if instead of giving his life force to Rey if some freaky force Dyad thing happened where between the two of them she was brought back to deepen the lore. I would have been excited to see a Ben Solo movie. It kind of seems like they’re jumping ship on sequel characters. I will be pretty surprised if that Rey movie happens. No one knows for sure but the Starfighter director confirmed they changed the third act and the assumption was Rey made an appearance at the end and they were asked to move away from that plot line.

 

Combine the Rey and Ben movies and just make it a Dyad movie. Ben in the force/astral realm and Rey in the real world. Ben comes back at the end.

Enjoying Visions s3 so far, although the sequel episodes are a little underwhelming

You get the joke right, cuz liek. One's a human in armor with a small alien. One's an alien in armor with a small human.

I was the same age as my kid when the special editions were in theaters. Psyched to take him to the theater for his first Star Wars experience

Never seen the original version. Just the 90s version and newer.

 

think i saw the original version once when i was like 9 or 10 and my friend brought his DVDs over to my house. i'm not a purist by any means re: the OG cuts vs the SEs, but i'm glad it's happening mainly for the sake of preservation (and if those clips going around were accurate, it'll probably look fantastic).
