I see he’s got a new Razor Crest and new Amblan rifle, both of which he lost in season 2.

 

Jabba’s son, Rotta, from the Clone Wars movie. I know we saw Ziro speak basic in the Clone Wars but it does feel a little odd. And based on the poster, it looks like the Twins are in this as well.

 

I do not expect this to be very good but hoping it’s atleast fun

Grogu and another little guy means I will have fun at this even if it isn't good.

I was thinking that too, but the inclusion of Zeb and how advanced Grogu seems to be, I don’t think so. Not to mention just Grogu’s name being included, since we and Din didn’t learn it until season 2. I think the logline says it’s a new Razor Crest too.

 

i'm suspecting a different Anzellan, they had several others in S3 of Mando

 

It definitely could be… I don’t have the show very fresh in my mind and I keep mixing up events and characters from all the seasons.

 

Really hope we get to see Grogu use Yoda’s lightsaber at some point

 

Well that was delightful. I think people being all out of sorts about season 3 was a bit much. I hope this does well enough that we don’t lose the Filoni movie. I am overall pro Mandoverse and would like to see it through to the conclusion. I’m most excited about Ahsoka season 2 because I’m a big mythology guy and believe it has the potential to be a wild adventure.

This release being the first movie in years is strange but I’m on board. I really loved Favearu’s season 2 opener. It felt like a mini movie and I have faith this will be a really fun popcorn movie that recaptures the general audience. Hoping nothing in the next couple years is a major hiccup so everyone can relax and enjoy Star Wars again.

The trailer actually looks good which is surprising based on recent outputs.

 

Felt more like a teaser than a real trailer tbh. Could be a fun movie. Expect it'll just be a long episode of the show with a lot more money thrown at it.

 

Luke made him chose it or Mando and he chose Mando.

 

I always liked the interpretation of the title of The Mandalorian referring to Grogu instead of Dinn, or at least it being vague. I wish it was called The Mandalorians instead. The title isn’t elegant at all and I like them solidifying Grogu as a Mandalorian instead of a Jedi to further differentiate him from Yoda.
