It's because the further in history they go, the closer they might get to having to create something original.

    Let's see just with Films/TV:
A trilogy of feature length live action films
    An feature length animated film
    A 133 episode animated series
    A 75 episode animated series
    A 47 episode animated series
A 12 episode animated anthology series
A 6 episode live action limited series
A 12 episode season of a tv series with another 12 episode season on it's way
Two standalone feature length live action films

I have seen it multiple times before. This is just my first time watching it in context of watching everything else. I love it, and it's better having more lore information now.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

for some reason I feel like a scene with Mothma and Krennic face to face would go unreasonably hard

A lot of places reporting that Ahsoka season 2 is not only recasting Baylon Skoll, but they are also looking for an actress to play Abeloth/The Mother

Finished A New Dawn. Pretty good. Awesome villain. This book was one of the first major appearance in canon of Sloane, and it almost made me want to read the Aftermath trilogy to followup on her story, but everybody says it's terrible lol

Now I am reading Lords of the Sith, which is about Vader and Palpatine putting their master/apprentice roles to the test during a mission to Ryloth dealing with Cham Syndulla's guerilla movement.

Once you get there I’d just read a summary of the Aftermath books on Wookipedia because the story overall is solid with it being the main location for the Battle of Jakku and there are interesting interludes throughout the trilogy (including the final fate of everyone’s favorite “Dellow Felegate”). The actual books are just so poorly written though because it’s written almost like a screenplay and the action being described to you rather than a book where it just says what’s happening. I don’t really know how to describe, but it’s a style I’ve never seen before and it makes things much more confusing.

I was curious so I looked up an excerpt and my initial vibe after two minutes of reading is that it feels like someone sharing the story with you secondhand.

Like this is a story they heard and they're telling it to you over a campfire.

the only thing i remember hearing about the Aftermath trilogy is that it had one of the first canon gay characters in Star Wars

Yes! This is a great description.

Yep. Sinjir Rath Velus. He’s an ISB agent who defects from the Empire after Endor and through the events of the first book, joins the Rebels. He ends up with a guy who’s a slicer for Leia and Sinjir becomes a high level advisor to the New Republic. He’s a good example of the story/characters of the series actually being good, but the writing/pacing letting it down.

He actually just got a Pride Month Variant Cover for the comics and if they move the comics to Post Return of the Jedi when they relaunch at the end of the year as expected, I could see him having a good sized role.

Lords of the Sith by Paul S. Kemp was really underrated. Pretty simple story, but I love how it doesn't waste time, the action and the thick of the plot starts almost immediately.

In the last couple days I also listened to the Dooku: Jedi Lost audio drama by Cavan Scott. It was only about 6 hours so I got through it pretty quick. It was like binge watching a 6 episode tv show.

My mom earlier gave me a unopened 2004 Hasbro 12 inch Boba Fett figure she found in the closet of my old room I completely forgot about. The box has discoloration, but mint conditions of this figure go on Ebay for anywhere between $50 to $150.

Killing younglings is like the first thing he does, even as Anakin, with the Tusken Raiders

he kills kids in the novels too. I just read Lords Of The Sith where at the end Palpatine orders him to slaughter an entire Twi'lek village filled with kids to further prove his commitment to his master
