I was told by an employee there is a virtual queue. Like today haha

 

Not sure what they’re talking about, there hasn’t been a VQ for that in over a year. They are bringing it back for the holiday parties there in Nov and Dec but that’s it. Guardians and Tron are the only rides with a VQ now.

 

So, maybe I misheard. There is not a VQ, but there is the individual lightning lane. Which, as of now, is only for annual pass/resort guests. So, I am fucked when it comes to buying my guaranteed ride. Unless they open it up later in the day. It’s already booked to 2:40 now with that. So I may just go wait in line ASAP. I have tickets that I could come back, but I want to do it when I can. Right now I have the saber build at 2 and Smuggler’s Run between 11-12.

 

You can book an ILL at park open, which I believe is 9am. Hopefully there will still be slots available at that time

 

This was correct! I checked at 9 and was able to snag a 4pm slot. And since I went straight to the ride at park open, it said 40 minute way, so I decided to wait it out. I don’t even think it was 20 minutes. So that was ride 1! I then did Star Tours twice in a row (no wait). But I got the same planets both times. Bummer! If the line stays non existent, I’ll go again later. I have Smugglers Run LL at 11, so I’m exploring Batuu while I wait. This day rules now! I mean it’s still Disney World without the Rise ride, but that made my day.

 

Awesome! Rise absolutely blew my mind the first time I went on it, such an amazing experience. Enjoy Batuu, it's a really fun place to just exist in (and the Ronto Wraps are a pretty good quick meal too).

 

I’m almost to the end of Season 2 of Rebels and I’d like to go on record and say it is outrageous how many episodes of this show revolve around them trying to steal fuel.

 

I mean…they can’t just go to a gas station lol

 

The alliance ships don’t run on hope.

 

Also, two of the 11 movies have a central plot that revolves around running out of fuel or stealing fuel.

 

Rebellions are built on hope and fuel

one of the main storylines on the starcruiser is about stealing coaxium for something too lol

 

Never really thought about this until now but Yoda’s whole thing in empire is “no no no don’t go save Han and Leia you need to finish your homework” and then like 15 mins later he refers to Leia as one of two last hopes lol. Like wtf you little green gremlin.

 

In his defense, when he first said that Leia was not Luke’s sister.

 

I mean, sister or not she was the “other one” of Luke fails. Pretty worth protecting. Why didn’t he get his own green ass on a plane and go help lol

Maybe if he stepped down from the council none of this woulda ever happened lol

 

If I remember correctly, at the time Empire was written the plan was not for Leia to be his sister at all and thus “the kiss” was not an accidental incestuous “whoopsie”. The plan was to have Luke discover he does have a sister somewhere out there and the trilogy would end with him departing to go search for her, teeing up a sequel trilogy that would start from there. But then Lucas grew exhausted by the entire franchise and the problematic issues happening behind the scenes on both Empire and Return so he compacted what he’d wanted to do within the screenplay for ROTJ and just made Leia his sister to close the loop.

 

No. When the movie was made, Yoda was speaking of Luke’s sister, but his sister was not Leia. Leia was just some rando to him.

It’s not Yoda’s fault George Lucas changed his mind.

 

I was I was thinking with this introduction in the main canon of other galaxies, I wonder if this opens up possibly doing the Yuuzhan Vong from the old EU.

Bringing in a powerful threat that has nothing to do with the Empire or the Sith would kind of rule.

 

I love the New Jedi Order books, so I’d be down.

I agree, but I don’t think Lucasfilm ever actually announced it to be fair
