That last arc is a banger. Siege of Mandalore is an all-timer.

Typical Star Wars fan service. But I absolutely loved the finale. So bummed, the places they were gonna go with Baylan.. oh man. The statues!! Best Star Wars live action show IMO

I view fan service as shoving in things that don’t make sense in the context of the show/movie that only serve as a “we know you love this” type moment.

I don’t really think that applies to that episode.

Ahsoka is definitely one of the best Star Wars projects during the Disney era.

I’d say both Resistance and BOBF were duds. S3 of Mando was pretty iffy. Rise of Skywalker was an abomination.

BoBF was just boring, but the Mando episodes of it were good. S3 Mando was the worst of the 3 but overall it was fairly enjoyable and more Bo Katan is a good thing (especially with her eventually meeting up with Sabine again at some point). Haven't seen Resistance yet and actually forgot it exists.

But 4 out of 5 movies, Rebels, Final Clone Wars season, Bad Batch, Andor, Ahsoka, Mando, Obi Wan all varied from decent to fantastic. Plus the insane amount of books, and technically the theme park and galactic starcruiser all officially being part of the canon story.

It's a good time to be a Star Wars fan

All the “they’re gonna retcon the sequel series” stuff is so annoying. Movies can be bad. The world doesn’t have to erupt over it lol

Yeah there’s no way they retcon the sequels. I have to be honest though. As excited I am for the future of Star Wars, I’d be way more excited if I didn’t know wherever the story goes didn’t end up with palpatine returning again for no reason.

    In this galaxy****

Now we have a whole ass other Galaxy to explore too, with Filoni's most beloved characters lol

Yes, the sequels aren’t going away. I’m most excited for the new Rey movie as it’s moving forward. Palpatine is gone for good. Allegedly. They can leave him and his connection to Rey in the past and move on to new villains, new planets, new galaxies even. This is their chance to not retread and break free of the Skywalker saga to just tell their own story.

I’m obviously interested in the other two movies, but we do know certain things can or can’t happen given their place on the timeline.

Filoni’s film is wrapping up the mandoverse story and assuming it’s everyone against Thrawn I think it’s inevitable for Ahsoka and Sabine to make their way back to the OG (Original Galaxy)

Isn’t Rey technically a Skywalker now though, so in a way it’s still continuing the Skywalker story.

In a way, sure. But the Skywalker Saga is over. The bloodline is gone. The legacy lives on, but I would hope that the new movie will not be constrained to servicing that story.

I personally would have been okay with Palpatine returning at some point if they hadn't derailed Last Jedi to do it.

If they'd made a psuedo-adaptation of Dark Empire after completing the trilogy, that would've been cool.

I just remember leaving Last Jedi excited because I had no idea where they were taking the franchise, only to be disappointed by where they took it.

I wasn’t against if Palpatine returned down the line, it’s just the way they did it with as little effort as possible that ruined it.

Yea, The Last Jedi ended in a way that they could have gone in almost any direction. So, they chose to just bring back Sheev instead of doing anything new or interesting. Let’s literally drag his clone corpse essentially around and magically have his whole plan change at the last second because of a dyad that we don’t really get explained. Such a disappointment.

Tbh I still don’t understand the force dyad concept.

FINALLY going to Galaxy’s Edge tomorrow. Also booked a lightsaber build. I’m definitely going for a blue saber.

Enjoy! I absolutely love it there. If you can, try to spend some time just wandering around looking at all the detail that's been put in, especially in Dok Ondar's and all the artifacts that are in there

For the virtual queue for Rise of Resistance, how close to the park do I need to be?

Are you going to Disney World or Land? I only know how World works.

There is no more VQ for that ride. You can either buy an individual lightning lane or stand in the line. It will almost always have an hour plus line, and is known to break down a lot. The ILL is available at 7am if you're staying at a resort otherwise it is available at park open for everyone else.
