Good. Honestly, keep delaying it. I don't even know whose movie is actually coming out. I'm starting to have doubts that Taika's is still in the works and I highly doubt Kevin Feige's is actually a thing considering how much seems to be going on at Marvel.

There's no need to put something out just to hit a deadline or for content's sake like TROS, Boba Fett or Obi-Wan. Give us a good, well-thought-out story.

 

At this point, I truly don’t care about movie announcements. Pretty sure we have more delayed or cancelled movies than actual movies from Disney. Let me know when there is a set photo and I’ll bother to get interested.

 

I'll believe it when I'm in the theater watching it.

A new Star Wars film taking place after episode IX is being written. It may include characters from the sequel trilogy.

I’d love to see that trilogy get a proper ending. TROS was such a bad way to wrap it up.

 

Written by Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson (who wrote for Counterpart, which I loved). That’s really exciting.

 

what would the proper ending be, at this point? honestly? just leave it be and give us new stories.

i am all for bringing back KMT in some fashion though. doubt any of the main 3 are going to even entertain discussions about returning.

Everyone is making a whole ass meal of the word “may.” If it even gets made, I would be shocked if any of the main actors come back. Maybe Daisey.

 

They said the same thing about Harrison but when you get the offer and it's that Disney money, we'll see I guess. I'd be surprised about Boyega. Oscar already said he's down. I hadn't heard anything about Daisy saying never really. KMT is an easy yes I'd think. I'm optimistic.

 

I’m sure if the story gives proper respect to Finn then John would agree, especially “IF” Daisy and Oscar come back as well.

 

Big fan of daisy, boyega and Isaac but I can't think of something I want less than a movie with them at this point. Rise was so bad that I want nothing to do with that time period ever again in star wars. I know we will get something eventually but gimme some high republic stuff or just anything like andor.

Oscar's in if the story is good. Give all 3 of them producer credits. I want another good story in this time period. I'm not gonna let my lack of enjoyment for one of the installments hamper any excitement for a new one if it's written by an excellent writer as this one appears to be (if true and accurate and it actually happens). I'm not going to hold my breath but it'd be pretty awesome.

 

A story with those 3 not tied down to the Skywalker Saga has potential. Give us a brand new adventure.

 

I don’t think I want anything past Ep 9 with those characters. Too many poor choices have been cemented in canon. At this point, jump a head hundreds or thousands of years. Let’s see something new that doesn’t have to tie into anything that came before.
